Wildlife Woodlands are pleased to announce that our contracting and consultancy services will shortly be merging with Black Sheep Consultants Ltd. The new business will trade as Land and Heritage Ltd from 1st October.
We have been working with Black Sheep Consultants on an increasing number of projects recently, including preparing a Conservation Management Plan for the National Trust’s Ebworth Estate and developing plans for the restoration of historic gardens at Glynllifon Manor in north Wales. The gardens there will form the backdrop to a major new hotel, and comes complete with its own large colony of Greater Horseshoe bats!
Matt Jackson, who runs Black Sheep Consultants, is a former gardener and Estate Manager with the National Trust, and shares our own strong environmental philosophy and ethics. He provides woodland management and tree safety services, but also brings an increased design capability to the new business, specialising in historic landscapes.
Land and Heritage will continue to provide a full range of ecological and woodland management services. We pride ourselves on giving practical, cost effective advice and can back that up with delivery on the ground.
Wildlife Woodlands will continue to trade, but will focus on the management and sale of our own woodlands. We hope to continue to provide useful information and advice to woodland owners and prospective owners, through our own newsletter. Land and Heritage will offer woodland management advice, including preparation of management plans and timber marketing if required.
If you would like to get in touch with us, please either e-mail or telephone. We look forward to meeting you!
